Tasha Williams was born in Fairhope, Alabama but was raised in Modesto, California. She has been singing since the age of 3. Music has always been and will continue to be her passion! By the age of 7, she knew that music was what she wanted to pursue in life and she has been blessed to sing with many successful artists along the way. She has performed with the famous Walter and Edwin Hawkins Choir of “Oh Happy Day” fame, gospel great Martha Munizzi as well as recording artist Robin Thicke, who produced a song on her very first demo.
A few years ago, she decided it was not too late to try and make her dream of a solo recording career come to fruition so she traveled to Los Angeles and auditioned for the TV Show, The XFactor. She made it to the final judging stages of the show, auditioning for a total of 4 days with the show's producers. Unfortunately, she got word that she didn’t make the final cut for the show. Tasha did not allow the XFactor experience to detour her feelings about her voice or how much she wanted to sing. In fact, it made her stronger and she continues to give it her all when she is asked to perform anywhere.
In the meantime, Tasha is the current Special Features Editor for Valley Views Magazine. She intends to shake up the Central Valley by interviewing local talent and opening the door for them to experience exposure and recognition here, within our community.
